Today, Wednesday, the Ministry of Agriculture revealed the most important agreements concluded with the Kurdistan Region.
The spokesman for the ministry, Hamid Al-Nayef, said, "It was agreed with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kurdistan Region on the smooth movement of movement between all provinces for agricultural materials, as well as the appointment of a representative from the region and a representative from the Federal Ministry of Agriculture so that there is high coordination between the two parties."
He pointed out, "It was agreed to form an agricultural marketing company whose mission is to market crops and ensure their delivery to all governorates in order to achieve self-sufficiency."
Al-Nayef indicated that "all agreements concluded with the region are conditional on the region's approval of controlling the ports and crossings, and the commitment to controlling the borders."
He stressed, "The agreements that were discussed are clear and are in the interest of everyone, so that the farmers of the region are not deprived of marketing their products to the rest of the provinces."
