{Local: Al Furat News} Baghdad Governor Muhammad Jaber Al-Atta announced, today, Saturday, new plans to establish and develop a number of projects, while Baghdad police vowed to hold violators of private generators accountable.
"We have a plan to develop the entrances to the capital, Baghdad," Al-Atta said in a press conference with the Baghdad Police Command, which was followed by {Euphrates News}, noting that "there is a meeting to complete the projects of the entrances to Baghdad included in the governorate's budget."
He stressed the existence of "a plan to establish road networks and develop water projects in the capital," referring to "establishing sewage networks for Baghdad areas within the Chinese loan."
And he indicated, "There are no abandoned areas in Baghdad and work to deliver services to all."
And the governor of Baghdad continued: "The laws must be applied and the generator owners violating the law must be held accountable," calling for "equipment of generator owners with the free fuel quota for the months of emergency."
During the conference, Baghdad Police stated that "there is a deterrent measure against violators of generator owners, in cooperation with administrative units."
