[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / - The Iraqi Jurists Union called on members of the House of Representatives to expedite and vote on the law to protect the legal employee.
And he said in a statement: The presidency of the Iraqi Jurists Union has, since 2015, demanded the relevant official bodies represented by the Presidency of the Republic, the Presidency of Parliament and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers to grant jurists working in all ministries and state institutions allowances not to practice the profession (lawyer) .. Indeed, the draft of this law was submitted after vigorous efforts by the formed committees to the Presidency of the House of Representatives, which was read first reading and took notes on him ".
He added: "After the many demands from the presidency of the Union and the jurists in the governorates, the second reading of the law took place, but the legislation of the law is awaiting a vote by the House of Representatives on it... and due to the holding of the House of Representatives session, the law was not voted on due to the lack of a quorum for several sessions... which caused the non-approval of the law." The law, therefore, we call upon the House of Representatives and the representatives who pledged to the jurists to pressure the members of the Council to attend to complete the quorum and pass the law in the service of the jurists and in the public interest.”/ End 2[/rtl]
