{Political: Al-Furat News} Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi announced, "Parliament will shift today's session (Tuesday) to examine options regarding what happened in Dhi Qar Governorate.
Al-Halbousi said in a tweet on Twitter: "The tragedy of Al-Hussein Hospital is clear evidence of (the failure) to protect the lives of Iraqis, and the time has come to put an end to this catastrophic failure."
A fire broke out on Monday evening in an isolation center for Corona virus patients at Al-Hussein (P) Medical Hospital in the city of Nasiriyah, the center of Dhi Qar Governorate.
And the number of martyrs rose to 41 people, in an indefinite toll.
The authorities opened an investigation into the fire that broke out in caravans built from the "sandwich panel".
This fire is the second of its kind after a similar fire broke out in Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital in the capital, Baghdad, on April 24, which killed dozens of martyrs and hundreds of injured.
