{Economy: Al Furat News} The Finance Committee in the House of Representatives indicated, on Tuesday, that there is no financial deficit in Iraq's budget for the current year.
A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Ahmed Al-Hajj, said in a statement to {Euphrates News} that "Iraq does not suffer from any financial deficit," stressing that "the country's budget for the year 2021 does not have a financial deficit."
Al-Hajj added, "The budget approved the price of a barrel of oil at 45 dollars," noting that "crude oil is currently sold at more than 70 dollars, meaning that Iraq is overflowing from its revenues 32 million dollars, which is equivalent to 35 trillion Iraqi dinars."
