    Today, Thursday, the Border Ports Authority announced that it had thwarted an attempt to waste public money and seize unlicensed weapons in the city of Mandali in Diyala Governorate.
    The authority said in a press statement, "In a sudden visit to the head of the Border Ports Authority, Omar Adnan Al-Waeli, to the Mandali border port, the attempt to waste public money was thwarted through manipulation of customs and tax fees for transactions completed by the Mandali Customs Center for 7 trucks, which are 4" dairy trucks. Ceramics, 2 trucks, and 1 truck cake.
    And she added, "She was referred to the judiciary to fulfill the right of the state and hold the negligent to account."
    The authority indicated that “the Port Protection Force was able to seize an unlicensed weapon of “2 pistols” in the possession of two people, who were referred to the Mandali Police Station to take legal measures,” explaining that “these practices of the Border Ports Authority come from the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces in extending Controlling the outlets, imposing the prestige of the state and preventing waste of public money,” she said, declaring that she “continues to raid the outlets with sudden and sudden rounds to control any act that violates the law and hold the negligent accountable.”
