Haider al-Abadi, the head of the leadership of the National State Forces Alliance, called on Wednesday for broad electoral participation in the upcoming elections.
The media office of the coalition stated in a statement, a copy of which was received by NRT Arabic (September 22, 2021), that "to ensure reform and change, and to enhance the credibility of the political process, the head of the leadership of the National State Forces Alliance, Haider al-Abadi, called on the people to participate widely in the upcoming elections. This came in his meeting members of the electoral team.
Al-Abadi stressed "the importance of educating the public to participate in the elections, as the broader participation of voters ensures the production of a truly credible political process that represents the opinion and aspirations of the public."
In the meeting, Al-Abadi stressed "the importance of coordination and integration of the work of the Victory Coalition within the frameworks and activities of the National State Forces Alliance, and the importance of distributing and integrating tasks and activities, public mobilization and support for candidates to serve citizens in the next stage."
