The Saudi Acting Minister of Information, Majed bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, praised the historical relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Iraq.
Al-Qasabi said during his meeting with the Iraqi media delegation and delegations of a number of Arab countries that attended to cover the activities of the Riyadh International Book Fair, which opened last Thursday, that “Iraq is a state of civilization and history, and between us and Mesopotamia there are important ties and a unified social fabric, and we are honored by its presence among the countries participating in the Riyadh International Fair.” We look forward to more cooperation between the two countries that enriches the Arab, Islamic and international culture.”
He pointed out that choosing Iraq as the guest of honor for this year's exhibition reflects the depth of brotherly relations between the two brotherly countries and their aspiration to achieve broader cooperation in various fields.
Al-Qasabi, who heads the Saudi-Iraqi Coordination Council, expressed his hope that the next stage will witness more joint work that serves the peoples of the two brotherly countries.
