Shafaq News / Al-Muthanna Chamber of Industry announced on Wednesday, the return to life of the government (Muthanna Cement Factory), again and the start of the production phase, after years of stopping and the failure of its investment opportunities.
The head of the chamber, Faleh Al-Hatimi, told Shafaq News Agency, "The factory returned to work after a decision by the Ministry of Industry to provide clinker for the cement industry."
It is hoped that the production capacity of the plant will reach 30 thousand tons per day after its return as a first stage, while production will be raised after the completion of the rehabilitation operations.
Last week, Al-Muthanna Cement Factory announced the launch of its production of high-quality (resistant cement) to the market, in conformity with Iraqi standard specifications.
