A member of the Al-Nasr coalition, Ahmed Al-Wandi, confirmed today, Sunday, that the next government will be a “majority government,” noting that this is unlikely in the current period, given the nature of the events and conditions that Iraq is currently going through.
Al-Wondi explained that "the next government is likely to be a "consensual government", and the victory coalition works with everyone to bring views and rapprochement closer with the aim of getting out of the current crisis in a way that guarantees greater stability for the country."
Al-Wondi pointed out that "the government that was formed after the 2018 elections was a majority government, and it did not succeed at the time, and it sided with one of the regional parties, only to fall after its first test."
