{Economic: Al Furat News} The head of the Najaf Investment Commission, Durgham Kiko, announced the imminent opening of the Golden Oil Refinery project (vacuum distillation unit) for the investor, the Golden Network Company, and the manufacture of the Emirati spece company, which is being built on an area of 100 acres in the north of the province.

The commission stated in a statement that {Euphrates News} received a copy of it, that "this came during his daily inspection tour to follow up on investment projects in the province in all sectors, including the industrial sector, accompanied by the UTV satellite channel to see the percentages of completion and stages of work in the major pioneering industrial project in the province."
"Najaf has always been a pioneer in the industrial sector and in various industries," Kiko said, noting "investment for this rich history in local industries is the oil industry sector."
Kiko indicated that "the completion rate has exceeded 90%, and it is hoped to open at the beginning of the sixth month of next year to supply the Iraqi market with gasoline, car oil and asphalt, with a production capacity of 2,400 tons that covers the needs of the province in the center and south."
He stressed, "The continuation of work on it and at an increasing pace to complete it on time and in accordance with the latest engineering specifications and modern oil technologies and within international standards of quality."
Kiko revealed, "The authority's agreement with the executing company upon the completion of the project and its entry into the operating phase will be the employment of local labor and contracting with them through the authority to ensure the employment of the largest possible number of people in the province and contribute to absorbing unemployment and preserving their rights."
The UTV channel camera documented the stages of work and modern technologies involved in implementing this large vital facility in the province, to be a distinctive imprint in the industrial investment sector.
