Baghdad denies Al-Kazemi freezing the powers of its "secretary"
Shafaq News/ On Thursday, the Baghdad Municipality denied that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi had frozen the powers of its Architect, Alaa Maan.
The secretariat said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, "At a time when the Baghdad Municipality denies this shady information, it denounces the unprofessional attack aimed at offending its Mayor, Architect Alaa Maan, who has been implementing the Baghdad Renaissance project under the supervision of the Prime Minister."
She added, "These signals were implemented depending on the revenues of the Baghdad Municipality's own revenues, which did not cost the state any money, such as the development of the streets of Al-Falah, Industry, Al-Shabab, the Royal Cemetery, Al-Saadoun Street, Al-Jumhuriya Street, and the construction and development of a number of residential shops, in addition to the supervision of the rehabilitation of the Baghdad icon, Al-Mutanabbi Alley through the resource management."
