{Economic: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Oil announced, on Monday, the completion of the reclamation of an oil well in Kirkuk, as part of the contract for the reclamation of 10 wells in the Khabbaz oil field, west of Kirkuk governorate.
The ministry said in a statement that {Euphrates News} received a copy of it, that "the technical and engineering staff in the Iraqi Drilling Company completed the reclamation of the first well (Khabbaz / 39) within the contract concluded with the North Oil Company to reclaim 10 wells in the Khabbaz oil field, west of Kirkuk Governorate," indicating "The reclamation operations included lowering the subsurface control valves (sss.v) to restart the well and protect it from sabotage and terrorist operations."
She added, "The company used the IDC 206 drilling rig with a horsepower of 1500 HP in reclamation operations," noting that "the company will use another rig in the same field in agreement with the North Oil Company to speed up the completion of the remaining works."
