The Ministry of Oil announced, on Tuesday, the completion of drilling and reclamation of 86 oil wells.
The Director General of the Iraqi Drilling Company, Khaled Hamza, said in a statement, which Mawazine News received a copy of, that "the company achieved the drilling of the twenty-fourth well in the field at a depth of 3079 meters in cooperation with the Halliburton Company," noting that "this comes within the contract concluded with the Basra Oil Company." to drill 43 oil wells in the Majnoon oil field.
He added, "The staff of the Iraqi Drilling Company completed drilling and reclamation work for (86) oil wells during the first half of the current year 2023," explaining that "the technical and engineering staff in the company managed to drill 34 oil wells and reclaim 52 oil wells during the current year."
And he continued, "The volume of work has been implemented through ten projects in progress distributed over oil fields in northern, central and southern Iraq for the benefit of national extraction companies and international companies operating in Iraq." Ended 29 / H
