On Thursday, the United States of America commented on the recent recovery of many artifacts from Iraq.
The US embassy said in a statement, a copy of which was received by Nass, (December 30, 2021), "Congratulations to the Iraqi Ministry of Culture on the occasion of the opening of the excavated antiquities exhibition today. Iraq's cultural heritage is a treasure for the world."
He added, "The United States is proud to facilitate the return of 17,000 artifacts to Iraq in July, including the recovery of the Gilgamesh Dream Tablet, which contains the oldest written story in the world. The US Embassy in Baghdad."
