Member of the Law: The session will be open without presenting the candidate for the presidency of Parliament

{Political: Al Furat News} The winning candidate for the State of Law coalition, Thaer fearful, expects the first session of Parliament to be held today, Sunday, to remain open.
"We will attend the first session of the House of Representatives, and we have not decided the person we will vote for to head parliament, according to what is announced," Makheif told {Euphrates News}.
"We expect that this session will be without a presidential candidate being presented, and it will remain open," he added.
The first session of Parliament was delayed half an hour due to the continuation of the consultative bloc meetings.
It is hoped that the session will witness the election of a speaker and two deputies to Parliament, in a first step towards the marathon of forming a new government in the country.
The Iraqi constitution stipulates that the president of the republic invites the parliament, consisting of 329 deputies, to convene in its first session, headed by the oldest deputy, before parliament begins electing a new president.
