The Federal Court “lies” the framework on the constitutionality of the first session
Shafaq News/ The Federal Supreme Court denied, on Monday, giving a prior opinion regarding the procedures for the parliamentary election session.
The media center of the Federal Supreme Court said in a statement received by Shafak News Agency, "It is not true what some are circulating regarding giving a prior opinion of the Federal Court, whether from its president or one of its members, regarding the procedures of the parliament session held on January 9, 2022."
The Federal Court called on all parties to "be careful not to attribute any opinion or statement to the Federal Supreme Court, because this will expose whoever issues it to legal accountability."
And media outlets close to the Shiite coordination framework quoted earlier today, Monday, the coordination framework as saying that "the President of the Federal Court informed the framework of the unconstitutionality of the first parliament session."
The framework also announced yesterday, Monday, in a statement, its rejection of the outcomes of the first session, considering it illegal due to the absence of the age president from the session.
