The Association of Iraqi Private Banks revealed, on Friday, many initiatives related to the cultural and social sectors.
The Executive Director of the Association, Ali Al-Mustaaf, told the official news agency, "The initiatives are from the Community Initiatives Fund, which is supervised by the Central Bank of Iraq and the Association of Banks and is financed by donations from the banking sector," noting that "this fund worked during the previous periods for several projects, the last of which was Al-Mutanabi Street."
Al-Mustaaf pointed out that "there are upcoming projects, we are working on a new integrated building for 100 inmates in Dar Al-Rashad and the work will be completed in mid-March, in addition to the rehabilitation of Al-Hassanin Square near the two-story bridge.
