The State of Law coalition considered, on Thursday, that the Federal Court’s decision regarding the necessity of having a quorum of two-thirds in the session to elect the President of the Republic in the first and second rounds is a great achievement for the political process first and for the coordination framework second, indicating that the decision enabled the framework using the blocking third that will force the political forces to sit for political consultations. .
Member of the coalition, MP Alia Nassif, said in a statement to "Information", that "the Federal Court's decision issued today regarding the most numerous bloc, and that a quorum of two-thirds of 222 deputies must be obtained in the voting session on the President of the Republic for both electoral rounds is a great achievement for the political process first and for the coordination framework secondly."
