    Information / Baghdad...
The economic expert, Ihsan Al-Kinani, warned of a new crisis for the citizen, especially taxi owners, due to the conversion of some gas stations to the improved, and the cancellation of premium gasoline sold at a price of 450 dinars per liter.
Al-Kinani told Al-Maalouma that "staying away from premium gasoline at 450 dinars per liter, and switching towards improved fuels at 650 dinars per liter, will raise the prices of most modes of transportation, and will increase the suffering of the citizen."
He added that "some stations canceled the system of working with premium fuel and turned towards the improved, and this would harm the general public, especially since many vehicles do not need this type of gasoline."
And he indicated that "the government, despite bearing some fuel costs as a result of the subsidized sale at a price lower than what it imports, at the same time compensates for the loss from oil revenues, especially since the price of a barrel exceeded double the amount allocated in the budget."

He pointed out that "the solution to the problem of fuel pricing is either by reducing the price to 500 dinars for the improved instead of 650 dinars and canceling the premium, or canceling import and developing refineries to cover the country's need for fuel without the need to import it." finished 25
