Shafaq News/ The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, announced today, Tuesday, his innocence of those he described as "lovers of positions without entitlement", and he forbade organizing demonstrations in the city of Nasiriyah in southern Iraq, "with narrow benefits."
Al-Sadr's Minister (Saleh Al-Iraqi) said in a tweet seen by Shafak News Agency, "We receive some bad news from Nasiriyah Al-Fayhaa, especially from some claimants of affiliation with the movement, and they are closer to corruption and personal interests and lovers of positions without entitlement, but merely blackmail and love in the worldly world to be a knife in the side of reform." ".
He added, "Generally speaking, we are all innocent of them unless they coordinate with the central authority: (the political body), and they have to coordinate with the competent local authorities, led by the governor of Nasiriyah. We are grateful."
And Al-Sadr's minister continued, "Then we must forbid demonstrations for the sake of narrow personal gain, and forbid violence and harm the interests of the people of Nasiriyah, and whoever does that is not excluded from being corrupt, intrusive, or the owner of foreign agendas."
