Shafaq News/ Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi met in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, today, Wednesday, with the Jordanian Minister of Industry and Trade Youssef Mahmoud Al-Shamali and his accompanying delegation.
A statement issued by the Iraqi government today stated that during the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to develop them, and to enhance bilateral and regional integration and coordination, especially with regard to food security, facing the rise in food prices globally, and other current economic challenges in light of international crises.
Iraq is suffering from the high prices of goods and foodstuffs in light of the war between Russia and Ukraine, and the federal government has taken a package of decisions to confront this crisis that afflicts the country and the world at large.
