Representative of the State of Law coalition, Hussein Ali Mardan, criticized, on Sunday, the mechanism of forming the Parliamentary Finance Committee, considering it a pressure card to attract the boycotting representatives to the session to choose the President of the Republic.
Mardan said in a statement to "The Information", that "the selection of members of the Parliamentary Finance Committee was not on the agenda," noting that "the mechanism for selecting some members is unacceptable and we will not allow it."
He added that "the mechanism for forming the Finance Committee aims to create a pressure card to attract the boycott deputies to the session to choose the President of the Republic," noting that "the matter was surprising in relation to the forces of the coordination framework, as it was not included in the council's agenda in advance."
