    The Sadrist movement threatened to fully use its political and legal "weapons", if the coordination framework continues to disrupt the presidential election session, which was met with an attack from the State of Law coalition, which described the leader of the Sadrist movement as looking at the political process from a "small hole", stressing He will open dialogues with all blocs, including the Sadrist bloc, with the aim of consensus.
    The leader of the Sadrist movement, Essam Hussein, said in a statement to Earth News, "The session scheduled for electing the president of the republic, which took place today, did not have the failure of the national majority, but rather the failure of the blocking third, especially today, most parliamentary committees were voted on, and there is not a single name from the who did not attend Parliament.
    He added, "The second thing is the presence of political and legal weapons that the Triple Alliance has not used so far, and I believe that these weapons will compel all deputies to attend the presidential election session, and there will be an additional paragraph with each session to elect the president, and when the coordination framework does not attend, he will be known." The people are the ones who want to disrupt the country’s interests, and the people who want to go ahead with forming a majority government.”
    He stressed that "the leader of the movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, confirmed that we are proceeding with the government of the national majority and we will not return to consensus."
    Today, Wednesday, the House of Representatives failed to hold a session to elect the president of the republic due to the lack of a quorum, which is two-thirds of its seats, or 220 deputies.
    This is the second session in which Parliament fails to hold the session, as the quorum was not achieved in last Saturday’s session, due to the boycott of the coordination framework of the session, and the accession of independent deputies to the district as well.
    After the failure of today’s parliament session, the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, published a tweet directed at the coordination framework in which he said, “I will not agree with you, for consensus means the end of the country, not to consensus in all its forms.     The leader of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, also tweeted for his part, and said, “The Coordination Framework Alliance and its allies confirmed the strength of the guarantor third, which was proven today by preventing a session considered dangerous by the framework,” noting that “we prepared an initiative paper to find a solution to the suffocation situation after it was confirmed that the tripartite alliance did not He presents the initiative to find realistic solutions that guarantee the political process from collapse.. Today and tomorrow, dialogue begins between the allied forces to ripen the initiative and launch it to the rest of the political forces and components.
    The positions did not end, as the Secretary-General of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq movement, Qais al-Khazali, confirmed in a speech to a number of journalists that “the number of ministries and their distribution are not in the resources of our interest.. He indicated, “What the coordination framework did during the previous two sessions in Parliament was to establish the right of the largest political and social component, and what we want is to find a prime minister who works independently.”
    In addition, a member of the State of Law coalition, Alaa Al-Haidari, said in a statement to Earth News, that "the exit from the current crisis depends on the existence of a solution, and the Sadrist movement, or rather its leader Muqtada al-Sadr, has reached the end point, and does not currently have an alternative vision, as he looks at the political process from through a hole and identified himself with a narrow circle.”
    He continued, "The other political blocs do not believe in this approach proposed by al-Sadr, and therefore there must be a solution, and I imagine that the coordinating framework must start today with its movement on the rest of the political blocs. For this matter, and he is even trying to talk to members of the Sadrist bloc, some of them may agree with us to get out of this crisis.”
