Events of Baghdad culture festival to start on 23/ March

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -The Ministry of Culture announced that ”The 23rd of March will be the date to launch the events of Baghdad the Capital of Arab Culture Festival.”The Director General of Cultural Affairs in the Ministry of Culture, Nufal Abu-Ragheif, stated in a press conference that was held at his directorate that ”The events of the festival will begin on 23/3/2013 and it will be the formal date to start all the events of the festival,” noting that “The director presented a brief concerning the ten seasons which include the events of the festival.””The first season will start at the end of April and will include inaugurating a book fair under the title (The knowledge is our identity),” he added, pointing out that ”The books that will be displayed in the fair will be about cinema, theater, fine arts and other subjects.”

Abu-Ragheif offered his appreciation for “all participants and the supporters for this important cultural event including the concerned committees and media outlets for covering this festival in a way that presents Baghdad as the Arab capital of beauty, love, creatively and culture.” \
