    Information / Baghdad...
Informed political sources revealed, on Monday, new differences that have begun to surface between the parties to the Sovereignty Alliance.

The sources said in an interview with "The Information", that "severe differences emerged in the past two weeks between deputies close to al-Khanjar and others to al-Halbousi because of the latter's efforts to impose their will and make changes in the liberated provinces according to their convictions without involving the rest of the spectrum constituents of sovereignty."
She added, "Al-Khanjar's representatives feel that those close to Al-Halbousi are trying to impose their control through the principle of a fait accompli," noting that "4 MPs, including two from Diyala, threatened to leave sovereignty if there was no fair path and understandings in the liberated areas."
She indicated that "the delay in deciding the formation of the government and the inability of the tripartite coalition to pass Barzani's candidate gave negative messages and some started thinking about abandoning the coalition, whose role has become very weak in front of the coordinating framework."
The Sovereignty Alliance was formed from the Al-Khanjar and Al-Halbousi alliances in the House of Representatives, which several countries contributed to pushing it to form.
