Earth News/ Al-Fateh Alliance called, today, Monday, for the exclusion of all those linked to the Baath party from the political process in Iraq.
A member of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Ali Al-Fatlawi, said in an interview with Earth News, "There are many impurities that have occurred in the political process, especially with a general amnesty for killers and terrorists and a special amnesty for some personalities that are tainted by many impurities."
Al-Fatlawi added that "these impurities and the circle of terrorism that surrounded many politicians and leaders who are still fugitives and are present either in Erbil, in the Emirates or in Jordan," stressing that these countries' embrace of these fugitives is a very dangerous matter.
He pointed out that "the de-Baathification law still exists, and everyone who has a connection to the Baath must be excluded and must be removed from the political process. He and all those who have stained their hands with terrorists, especially those who have harmed, killed or threatened an Iraqi, must be tried."
He stressed that "these compliments should not be at the expense of the Iraqi people, and the Iraqi people must be safe from all that."
