[size=52]Corruption and irregularities in the sale of the house of Saddam Hussein's deputy[/size]
[size=45]Representative Hadi Hassan Al-Salami revealed that there were suspicions of corruption and legal irregularities in the process of selling the house of Taha Yassin Ramadan, the former vice president of the Iraqi regime.[/size]
[size=45]A document issued by the office of Representative Al-Salami showed that the Minister of Finance had previously approved the minutes of selling the property located in the Karada Maryam area in the center of the capital, Baghdad, at a price of 7 billion dinars, but a day before the auction was scheduled to take place, it was canceled without knowing the reasons.[/size]
[size=45]The document added, "The price of the real property exceeds 18 billion dinars," noting that "the current cabinet issued a decision to own the aforementioned property at a price of 8 billion dinars."[/size]
[size=45]She pointed out that "this confiscated property belongs to a collaborator of the former Iraqi regime (Taha Yassin Ramadan), and therefore the sale mechanism is supposed to be in a public auction in accordance with the law.[/size]
