    Member of Parliament Nawras Al-Issa warned, on Tuesday, that unemployment in Iraq has reached a critical point, the most dangerous after 2003.
    Al-Issa said in an interview with “Information” that “unemployment in Iraq is an important file that must be paid attention to because its repercussions are serious in different directions, including security,” noting that “according to government reports, unemployment has reached a critical point that is the most dangerous after 2003, especially in light of the lack of revival.” Factories and other sectors that attract hundreds of thousands of workers.
    Al-Issa added, “Unemployment leads to poverty, and the latter has reached levels of about 35% in general and reaches more than 50% in the liberated areas affected by terrorism,” stressing that “the rates raise concern and call for efforts to open other doors for work and not rely on government institutions in appointment.”
    She pointed out that "3 continuous government mistakes in dealing with the unemployment file are the failure to activate the private sectors, create investment opportunities, push the pace of industry forward, and formulate solutions for granting loans to youth to open sources of livelihood," noting that "the unemployment file is a bomb that may explode at any moment because the numbers are large.
