    , the head of the Rusafa Court of Appeal, Judge Imad Al-Jabri, confirmed that the courts of appeal witnessed a great urban development in the recent period, while pointing out the importance of establishing the new Baghdad Courts Complex due to the urgent necessity due to overcrowding and the large number of cases.

    Al-Jabri said in an interview with the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the purpose of establishing this court is to accommodate the increasing number of citizens, especially since Rusafa is a heavy population in the capital, Baghdad, and contains the Presidency of Rusafa Appeal, which was built with an approximate area of ​​25 dunums, which is very wide and includes The annexes of the courts related to the Presidency of Appeals include all the headquarters of the Presidency, the Courts of First Instance, the Commercial Court, the Investigation Court, and the Personal Status Court, in addition to the criminal courts.

    He added that "a criminal court building was recently established, containing four halls and four criminal commissions, for the purpose of absorbing the momentum of auditors, reducing the duration and timing of pleadings, and completing citizens' cases as quickly as possible."

    The head of the Rusafa Court of Appeal indicated that "some courts in Rusafa have narrow and not wide areas, such as the New Baghdad Court, and we are seeking to obtain a plot of land from the Ministry of Finance for the purpose of establishing the new Baghdad Courts Complex to serve the citizen," stressing that "there are efforts from the presidency of the Supreme Judicial Council in this regard." The trend, but so far we have not found any response from the Finance on this issue, and the main purpose of expanding the New Baghdad Court is to accommodate the population density and the increasing reviews in those there.”

    Judge Imad Al-Jabri explained during the interview that "after assuming the presidency of the Rusafa Court of Appeal, the establishment of the Al-Rusafa Investigation Judge Court was initiated, as it became an independent building," noting that the next step was to build the criminal court, which is specialized only for criminal bodies, and the third step What the presidency has done is to build the Personal Status Court in Rusafa, as it was moved to the Rusafa Appeal Complex, in addition to building a meeting room called Hammurabi Hall, as well as creating electronic inquiries to facilitate the review of the citizen and conduct restoration work and other services to provide comfort to the citizen when he visits the court.



    The court complexes
    , Judge Al-Jabri stated that "The Rusafa Court of Appeal includes ten complexes in addition to the presidential center, which contains a group of courts. Those complexes are Al-Adhamiya, Al-Shaab, Al-Zohour District, Karada, New Baghdad, Al-Sadr City, Al-Nahrawan Court, which was recently opened, Al-Wahda District Court, which was also recently opened, and Al-Madain Court." .

    Technological development in the work of the courts
    With regard to the technological development in the work of the courts, the head of the Rusafa Court of Appeal, Judge Imad Al-Jabri, explained that “the Presidency of the Judicial Council was seeking from the beginning to introduce technological development in the work of the courts, so the first projects were electronic marriage contracts, as all its procedures are electronic and attendance is Only about the date of the contract that requires attendance at the court and the conclusion of the marriage contract, as well as the second step that the Judicial Council has taken, which is the legal quotas, in addition to the legal arguments that have become electronic, in addition to that there is an electronic automation program to automate the lawsuits of the beginning,” noting that “the Judicial Council It continues to incorporate technological development into the work of the courts in a manner that is commensurate with the nature of their work.”
