The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hakim Al-Zamili, confirmed that the neighboring countries began to weaken Iraq because of the internal situation.

Al-Zamili said in an exclusive interview with him on the official TV screen that “Parliament has made good beginnings with legal legislation criminalizing normalization with the Zionist entity and food security,” adding that “the food security law concerns important segments of society.”
According to the first deputy, “some parties did not get satisfaction in the food security law,” adding that the paragraphs that were added in the law “were not to satisfy parties.”
He referred to an attempt to discuss with the Supreme Judicial Council and the Federal Court "regarding the budget," stressing that "it was necessary to legislate the Food Security Law to meet people's urgent needs."
The Finance Committee allocated in the Food Security Law “8 trillion for the development of the regions,” according to Zamili, who said, “We will prove all contracts in electricity and other ministries in the next stage.”
And 400 billion dinars were allocated to the military and security establishment in the Food Security Law, according to Zamili, who pointed out that “any person or entity has the right to object to the Food Security Law.”
According to the first deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Parliament will pass in the next stage “important laws that affect the lives of citizens,” stressing, “We are now working on legislating the Social Security Law,” as it is “important to guarantee the rights of workers in the private sector.”
Regarding the water file, Al-Zamili said that the neighboring countries "began to weaken Iraq because of the internal situation," noting that "Turkey is preparing to build another dam in addition to the Ilisu Dam."
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not raise “any protest note regarding the water violations by neighboring countries,” according to the first deputy.
And on accusations against the Sadrist movement of dividing Shiite blocs, Al-Zamili said: “We do not bargain, brute or split the Shiite stick,” explaining that “Muqtada al-Sadr presented many initiatives to resolve the political blockage.”
“We seek to form a national majority government for change,” according to the first deputy.
In his speech, he touched on the questioning of some ministers by saying: “A number of ministers will be questioned in the second legislative term,” adding, “Oil is one of the ministries that will be questioned in the second legislative term.”
First Deputy Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi appealed to "activating the alternative system, otherwise we will have to legislate it."
Hakim al-Zamili referred to the issue of burning Iraqi gas, saying: "Millions of dollars are wasted as a result of burning gas in oil fields for years."
And he considered that "some of the sabotage of energy towers is deliberate, not just terrorist."
