Shafaq News/ The former Minister of Water Resources, Hassan Al-Janabi criticized, on Saturday, the caretaker prime minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, who granted a "grace" to the ministers of his government and the previous government, considering that Al-Kazemi "punishes" Haider Al-Abadi's government because of a "correct decision".
Al-Janabi wrote on his Facebook page, followed by Shafak News Agency, "The current government has distributed plots of land to the current ministers with an area of 600 square meters, and what is interesting in the matter is not not announcing the decision, for fear of popular resentment perhaps, but rather the inclusion of Adel Abdul-Mahdi's government and all its members in the same privilege."
Al-Janabi, who was part of the cabinet in the government of former Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, added, "The most exciting thing is that Haider al-Abadi's government does not include this government (honoring)."
He considered that "this is a punishment for al-Abadi's government because it took a decision at the time to cancel some privileges for senior officials, including stopping the distribution of plots of land and homes, as was done under the governments that preceded it."
Al-Janabi concluded by saying, "The decision of the Abadi government was correct, and the correct one is based on it and is not punished."
And the Prime Minister of the caretaker government, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, had granted residential plots of 600 square meters in distinct areas in the capital, Baghdad, to his government ministers and some officials and those close to him, which angered the Iraqi street and a number of MPs and politicians.
