    Cabinet spokesman Hassan Nazim announced today, Monday, that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi will go to the United States to participate in the work of the United Nations General Assembly, while noting that the Cabinet decided to stop work on previous decisions related to lagging projects .
    Nazim said during a press conference in Baghdad that followed the cabinet session that "Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi will travel to the United States to participate in the work of the United Nations General Assembly at its 77th session," noting that "Al-Kazemi will meet high-ranking figures in New York ."
    He added, "Al-Kazemi's participation in the work of the United Nations General Assembly enhances Iraq's international standing," noting that "the government succeeded in the file of foreign relations and was able to dismantle the crises ."
    He stated that "Al-Kazemi's visit to the United States is the culmination of the government's diplomatic effort," noting that "the Council of Ministers decided to stop work on previous decisions related to lagging projects ."
    He continued, "Stopping the work of previous decisions of the Council of Ministers because they were taken in exceptional circumstances," noting that "the Council of Ministers voted to fund Shatrah University with three billion dinars to support education ."
