    On Monday, the Ministry of Agriculture revealed recommendations regarding importing goods, while noting that setting prices for products depends on one factor.

    The Technical Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Mithaq Abdel Hussein, told the official agency, and it followed it (the information), that “the decision to open and prevent import was issued by the Council of Ministers,” noting that “the Ministry of Agriculture recommended organizing the import process in a way that guarantees the protection of the local product and ensures the availability of goods at competitive prices and prevent commodity dumping. Waiting for the recommendations to be approved by the Council of Ministers.
    Abdul-Hussein stressed, “the need to protect the local product for its sustainability and the protection of thousands of workers in this agricultural sector,” noting that “the decision to set prices is linked to global price control.”
