Dhi Qar.. Sadrists denounce al-Maliki's statements
Shafaq News/ Dozens of supporters of the Sadrist movement demonstrated in Dhi Qar governorate today, Monday, against the background of the threat to kill their leader Muqtada al-Sadr.
Shafak News Agency correspondent stated, "Dozens of Sadrists' supporters organized a demonstration filled with enthusiastic chants, denouncing the words of former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki in an audio recording in which their leader Muqtada al-Sadr threatens to be killed."
And our correspondent stated, "The Sadrist demonstration was hosted by Al-Juma Street in the center of Nasiriyah, which is the main headquarters of Al-Sadr's supporters in every Friday prayer."
Our correspondent noted, "Many other cities in Dhi Qar witnessed protests against al-Maliki's threat to al-Sadr to be killed."
