The Customs Authority announced, on Friday, that it had thwarted an attempt to smuggle 4 cars without the model allowed to be imported by the Investigation and Combating Smuggling in Umm Qasr.
In a statement received by Mawazine News, the authority said, "The Department of Investigation and Combating Smuggling in the Southern Region Customs Directorate, in cooperation with Umm Qasr Al Shamali Customs Center, seized 4 cars without the model allowed to be imported."
The authority indicated that "the seizure process was carried out in cooperation with the security authorities in the port and with the support of the customs police." Ended 29/N33
