[size=45]The Ministry of Defense confirmed, on Sunday, that the Iraqi army stands at the same distance with the people and its duty is to protect the protesters in the Green Zone in central Baghdad and public and private properties and to prevent any security breach.[/size]
[size=45]The ministry said in a statement that "a number of social media circulated news about the 11th Infantry Division's announcement that he stood with the demonstrators, and here the ministry confirms that the Iraqi army, with all its leaders and affiliates, is at the service of the Iraqi people and stands at the same distance with the people."[/size]
[size=45]She added, "The duty of the security forces is to protect the demonstrators, protect public and private property, prevent any security breach, and tighten the noose around the intruders who try to destabilize security by exploiting the circumstances.[/size]
