[size=45]The British Senior Military Adviser in the Middle East and North Africa, Marshal Sami Sampson, affirmed, on Wednesday, his country's commitment to support the Peshmerga forces and the Kurdistan Region, calling for ensuring the rights of the Peshmerga within the Iraqi military system.[/size]
[size=45]President Barzani received in Salah al-Din Resort near Erbil, Marshal Sami Sampson and his accompanying delegation.[/size]
[size=45]Sampson praised President Barzani's role in efforts to unify the Peshmerga forces under the umbrella of the Ministry of Peshmerga, and stressed "the need to protect the rights of the Kurdistan Region and the Peshmerga within the framework of the Iraqi defense system."[/size]
[size=45]In turn, President Barzani congratulated the visiting delegation on the formation of the new British government, praising Britain's role in assisting the Peshmerga forces in the war against ISIS.[/size]
[size=45]With regard to the reforms of the Ministry of Peshmerga, the Kurdish leader said that he fully supports the reforms of the Ministry of Peshmerga, stressing the need for these forces to be under the leadership of the Ministry of Peshmerga.[/size]
