Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research launched the national standards for accrediting the programs of colleges and institutes of health and medical technologies in Iraqi universities.
The head of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority, Salah Al-Fatlawi, said in his speech during the launch ceremony, which was hosted by the College of Health and Medical Technologies at the Central Technical University and in the presence of specialists in the field of quality and accreditation, and was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority was able to complete nine national councils. The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research places within its strategy the interest in medical technical education because of its importance that affects the life of the citizen and achieves the highest levels of community service.”
The head of the National Council for Accreditation of Programs of Colleges and Institutes of Health and Medical Technology, Shukria Shadhan Al-Agaili, explained that "the completion of the national standards file for accrediting health and medical technology colleges and institutes came with joint efforts of professors and specialists in the technical field. These efforts resulted in the adoption of basic standards that focused on updating curricula and developing technological sources of information." Technology".
And she added, "The council is working hard to provide support to universities in program accreditation in order to contribute to the quality of outputs in accordance with the requirements of the labor market."
