The Directorate of Agriculture in Kirkuk Governorate announced obtaining the approval of the Council of Ministers to receive the yellow corn crop from the farmers, while Kirkuk is expected to receive 350 billion dinars from selling the yellow corn to the Baghdad government.
The director of Kirkuk agriculture, Zuhair Ali, said that "the approval of the Council of Ministers was obtained to receive the yellow corn crop from the farmers, at a price of 500 thousand dinars per ton."
Zuhair Ali explained that "the expected quantities of the yellow corn crop in Kirkuk are about 600 to 700 thousand tons."
