    Today, Monday, the Prime Minister-designate, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, received an invitation to visit the Republic of Pakistan.
    The media office of the Prime Minister-designate stated, in a statement, that "Al-Sudani received the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Iraq, Ahmed Amjad Ali."
    During the meeting, Al-Sudani expressed "the desire of the future government to enhance bilateral cooperation with Pakistan in the military fields, especially armament and training, and the importance of revitalizing religious tourism between the two countries, as well as coordinating positions in international forums in the interest of the two friendly peoples."
    For his part, the Pakistani ambassador conveyed "the congratulations of his country's government to the Sudanese on the occasion of his assignment, and affirmation of its confidence in his success in forming the next Iraqi government, and in his ability to manage the state and face the current challenges."
    The ambassador extended an invitation to the Prime Minister-designate to visit Pakistan in the future, to sign a memorandum of understanding in the field of trade and economic cooperation.
