The Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced, on Saturday, the completion of steps to transfer the security file to its forces in the centers of three governorates in the center and south of the country.[/size]
[size=45]And the ministry stated in a statement that “its minister, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, chaired today a meeting with the ministry’s leaders and a number of officers to discuss taking over the security file in city centers and fully transferring responsibility to three provinces, which are Wasit, Diwaniyah and Muthanna.”[/size]
[size=45]Al-Shammari stressed, according to the statement, that “all logistical and intelligence preparations have been completed and the officers of the departments’ centers have been assessed.”[/size]
[size=45]He added, "The mechanism for transferring this file and working to provide the best services to citizens and to enhance security and stability in these governorates were discussed."[/size]
