Today, Wednesday, the Iraqi Drilling Company announced the completion of drilling operations for the Nasiriyah / 52 oil well in Dhi Qar Governorate.
The general manager of the Iraqi Drilling Company, Bassem Abdul Karim Nasser, said in a statement, "The technical and engineering personnel in the company completed drilling the well at a depth of 2100 meters to form the supervisor using the IDC 44 drilling rig with a horsepower capacity of 1000 horsepower," noting that "the well is the sixth that the company has accomplished within the contract." The agreement was concluded with the Dhi Qar Oil Company to drill 20 oil wells in the Nasiriyah oil field, in cooperation with the (Weather Ford) company to provide oil services.
He added that "the company is keen to carry out works to ensure the implementation of quality, health, occupational safety and environment systems and according to the requirements of standard specifications, because the company has obtained, during the past month, the renewal of grants for conformity certificates in accordance with those systems."
