, President of the Journalists Syndicate, Moayad Al-Lami, confirmed today, Friday, that the Syndicate is currently working with the concerned authorities to define a mechanism for distributing lands to journalists in Baghdad.
Al-Lami said: "The Syndicate has many housing projects for journalists in Baghdad, which they were previously denied."
He added, "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani directed the Ministry of Finance, the State Real Estate Department, the Ministry of Municipalities, and the Municipality of Baghdad to prepare residential plots for journalists from Baghdad governorate, and we will work with those authorities to determine the mechanism for distributing lands."
He pointed out that "the union has other projects represented in courses for journalists inside and outside Iraq, in addition to incentive rewards," noting that "the union is working to increase the number of those covered by the rewards." Ended 29 / H
