The Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, issued today, Saturday, directives regarding the company contracting with the Police Martyrs Fund in the Traffic Directorate.

The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasool Abdullah, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces seeks to find the best ways to provide services to citizens and reduce the burden on them in various fields," noting that "the commander The general directed to study the implementation of the following proposals, which were sent in an official letter to the Ministry of Interior, numbered (2390436) on 14/1/2023.
First: Termination of the contract of the company contracting with the Police Martyrs Fund at the Traffic Directorate, from which an amount of (35,000) thirty-five thousand dinars is deducted in favor of a company upon completion of the transactions.
Second: Transferring road and bridge fees and imports stipulated in Presidency Resolution No. (40) of 2015, which the Traffic Directorate deducts when registering vehicles or transferring their ownership to the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Municipalities and the Municipality of Baghdad in coordination with the Ministry of Finance in order to immediately start rehabilitating roads and bridges and developing some alternative roads To reduce the traffic congestion that does not result in a financial or legal impact on the state. 
Third: Terminating the (contract or waiting) by doing the (shake) examination at the present time and stopping the collection of the amount (30,000) thirty thousand dinars, provided that there is no financial or legal impact on the state.
Fourth: Termination of the contract of the contracting company with the Ministry of the Interior. As far as those seeking driving licenses are concerned, the examination and testing procedures are concerned. The Traffic Directorate can provide staff and supplies from its resources to conduct the examination and testing instead of collecting an amount of 30,000 dinars from the citizen.
Fifth: The Traffic Directorate tightened the procedures on the stations of the specified weight of the carrying vehicles, as they affect the internal and external roads. 
Sixth: Strengthening the cadres of the Traffic Directorate with civil servants from the ministry's joints, whose services have been converted from military to civilian, and working hours will be in the form of (morning) and (evening).
