    Today, Thursday, the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers announced the details of the Cabinet's decision to create job grades.
    The General Secretariat said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “the Council of Ministers decided, in its fifth regular session, held on 1/31/2023, to approve the following:
    First: The Ministry of Finance has created titles and job grades within the budget departments and formations, according to the following:
    1. Creating (80) job degrees within the budget of Maysan Governorate / Directorate of Agriculture, within the operating expenses of the aforementioned governorate.
    2. The creation of two job grades within the budget of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works / Ministry Center, within the operating expenses of the Ministry of Construction and Housing.
    3. Creation of (132) job degrees within the budget of the Ministry of Agriculture / the Ministry's center within the operating expenses of the Ministry of Agriculture.
    4. Creation of (148) job degrees within the budget of the Ministry of Agriculture / Veterinary Department, within the operating expenses of the aforementioned department. 
    5. The creation of (38) job degrees within the budget of the General Secretariat of the Parliament, within the operating expenses of the aforementioned Council, and the inclusion of the difference in the annual amount (395,806,800) dinars to the budget of the General Secretariat of the Parliament within the draft federal budget law for the fiscal year / 2023. 
    6. Creation of (437) job degrees within the budget of the Ministry of Agriculture / Department of Forestry and Desertification, within the operating expenses of the aforementioned department. 
    7. Creating (71) job degrees within the budget of the Holy Karbala Governorate Council, within the operating expenses of the aforementioned council. 
    8. Amending Paragraph (3) of Cabinet Resolution (370 of 2022) regarding the creation of job grades within the budget of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, so that the number becomes (706 ) job grades instead of (766) after excluding (60) grades. functional.
    Second: The aforementioned authorities refrained from appointing new contracts or operating daily wages in the future.
