    The Emirati Dana Gas Company confirmed, today, Thursday, that the Kurdistan region achieved record levels in production rates, at 500 million standard cubic feet per day, during the month of January 2023.
     The company said in a report of its preliminary financial results for the year ending on December 31, 2022, which was followed by (Baghdad Today), that "the company's net profit amounted to $182 million during the year 2022 compared to $317 million in 2021." .” 
     And she added, “Dana Gas, before calculating other sources of income and provisions, recorded an adjusted net profit of 718 million dirhams, 196 million dollars, compared to 469 million dirhams, 128 million dollars during the year 2021, an increase of 53% , and this strong growth in profits came on an annual basis.” Due to the high oil and gas prices, the company's continued commitment to reducing costs.
     And she indicated that "the company's revenues increased by 17% to $529 million, compared to $452 million in 2021," attributing this to "the increase in prices achieved for selling products, which was accompanied by an increase in the company's production rates in the Kurdistan region of Iraq," noting that "costs have decreased." operations by 5% to $57 million in 2022, compared to $60 million in 2021.
     And she added, "The company recorded during the year 2022 an increase in the production rate in the Kurdistan region by 1%, to reach 34,300 barrels of oil equivalent per day."
    She pointed out that "after the successful completion of the bottleneck removal project at the "Khormor" gas treatment plant in the Kurdistan region, the station's production capacity increased by 50 million standard cubic feet per day to reach 500 million standard cubic feet per day.
