    Today, Saturday, the Public Retirement Authority announced the mechanism for disbursing financial differences and allocating land for those covered by the new procedures, according to the directives of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
    And the head of the authority, Maher Hussein Rashid, said in a televised interview, followed by (Baghdad Today), that "there are timings for implementing the package of directives issued by the Council of Ministers in support of the retirees," as "the employee's retirement treatment will be regulated six months before he is referred to retirement, and a month before As a result, the entire transaction is checked to be processed and then officially referred," pointing out that "the employee, upon his separation, will receive his retirement identity, and then the first salary, end-of-service reward, and all allocated funds will be paid to him, and starting from next March, the salary and reward will be disbursed to those who completed the procedures directly." .
    He continued, "This package has simplified bureaucratic procedures, and the Pension Authority is currently moving towards automating all its procedures, in coordination with the Ministry of Communications and specialized companies."
    With regard to the issue of lands between Rashid, "according to the package, they will be allocated to those who did not benefit from the lands previously, and the role of the commission will be to provide the Baghdad Municipality and the Ministry of Municipalities with names, and then allocate those lands to those who are referred to retirement."
    He pointed out that "the authority has made progress in the file of financial differences," as "the size of the allocations was less than the size of the indebtedness of the authority to those entitled to the differences, and a tight mechanism was established for disbursement in the form of payments and through applicable payment cards," stressing that "bureaucracy and cases of extortion will end."
    Yesterday, Friday, the Council of Ministers directed the launch of a package of regulatory measures in support of the retirees, as follows:
    1. Inclusion of retirees with a residential plot of land for non-beneficiaries.
    2. Paying a reward of 500 thousand dinars to the employee on the day of his separation from his department.
    3. Preparing the procedures for disbursing the (end of service) reward with the first salary he receives and providing the necessary financial allocations for this matter.
    4. Organizing the procedures for disbursing the amount of (cumulative leave) in cash upon the dismissal of the retired person.
    5. Granting retirees a 25% discount on Iraqi Airways (back and forth) once a year.
    6. Granting retirees priority treatment outside Iraq at the expense of the state.
    7. Preparing the treatment of those referred to retirement before (six months) from the date of referral, without this meaning (referring him to retirement) in order to prevent delays in the procedures, while ensuring that the pension is received on the specified dates.
    8. Preparing the retirement identity data (one month) before the date of separation and ensuring that it is received without delay.
    9. Complete the retirement transaction smoothly, and make sure that the retirement contributions deduction is paid, while not refraining from handing over the pension under the pretext of non-payment of the contributions.
    10. Coordination between the Ministry of Finance, banks and electronic payment companies, by adopting a mechanism to simplify the procedures for proving life certificate, in order to avoid the issue of stopping the salaries of retirees.
    11. Complete the procedures for adding job service, especially for those referred to retirement.
    12. Raising the level of retirement formations in ministries and agencies not associated with a ministry and governorates to the level of departments, and in departments to the level of people.
