Within six months.. Kurdistan Parliament approves only 6 laws

Shafaq News / The Institute of Education and Development for following up the work of government institutions (IAP) in the Kurdistan Region announced, on Saturday, that the Kurdistan Parliament has approved, during the past six months, only six laws, while (10) members of Parliament did not participate in any intervention.
The institute's member, Rwanagah Fayek, stated during a press conference, attended by Shafaq News Agency, that "the institute's report to follow up on the work of the Kurdistan Parliament, during the past six months, showed the approval of (6) laws only, (5) of which have not yet been published in the Kurdistan Fact Sheet." ".
Fayek added, "All the council's laws were marred by problems in terms of form and content, and they were not in accordance with what the citizens of the region aspired to," noting that "(10) members of the region's parliament did not express any participation, even with a single word, during the aforementioned period."
