    The former commander of US forces in Iraq and Director of Central Intelligence, General David Petraeus, claimed in a "failed" justification that if the United States had not invaded Iraq and Afghanistan, another country would have done so, and he did not clarify who that country was.

Those toxic chemicals are present in the soil, air, and in the genes of those peoples.
